We shot the video, and it was incredible to watch him rise in popularity afterward. It was a joy to witness someone I respect achieve such success."

"I can’t say I had many Asian-American role models growing up, aside from my mom and older sister. Sometimes the lack of role models can be disheartening, but it also allows you to carve out your own identity. Recognizing early on that those stereotypes didn’t represent me was liberating; it allowed me to define who I want to be without conforming to any box."
