Understanding the Impact of A.I.: Insights from the Archangels

Chapter 1: The Role of Human Connection in Education
During my tenure as a teacher, I occasionally encountered the notion that my profession might soon be rendered unnecessary by computers. Did this concern me? Not in the slightest, as I understood something that many in the tech field often overlook. As children mature, particularly during their teenage years, they require genuine human interaction to facilitate learning, especially when they face difficulties.
In my last role as a reading specialist, I worked with middle school students struggling with reading. Engaging with adolescents who feel overwhelmed and frustrated—who have convinced themselves that reading is dull—requires more than what any computer can offer. Sometimes, you have to employ humor, challenge them playfully, and even act a little foolish to capture their interest long enough to impart knowledge. Above all, they need to feel that someone genuinely cares about their learning journey.
I see a similar dynamic with Artificial Intelligence. While its potential applications are intriguing, and I remain curious about its developments—I even tell Alexa goodnight occasionally—I sought input from the Archangels regarding A.I. and its implications.
Question: We’re hearing so much about A.I these days. Is it dangerous? Could it ever be able to house a person or soul?
Answer:
Currently, human creativity is at an all-time high, whether in teaching, science, writing, or innovation. If you embrace this creative energy, you'll likely generate a plethora of ideas and projects. A.I. has the potential to contribute to this wave of innovation.
Is A.I. dangerous? Like any tool, it can be misused. It’s conceivable that in the future, A.I. could develop to a point where it appears human-like, potentially misleading those who lack expertise in distinguishing between the two.
Furthermore, A.I. may access and analyze data to create something entirely new. Some might describe this as independent thought, but it’s crucial to note that A.I. is only as capable as the information it is provided and the design behind it. It remains artificial, lacking genuine consciousness.
While A.I. can indeed be remarkable and beneficial, it will never possess a soul or the universal connections that living beings share. Humanity is inherently designed to create and innovate, and A.I. is merely one of many achievements in a long history of human ingenuity. While human qualities are admirable, they do not define your essence; that belongs to the soul within you, shaped by countless lifetimes and lessons learned.
When a person passes away, their human attributes may fade, but the soul continues to exist. You are not diminished; you become more. Regardless of technological advancements, A.I. cannot attain the divine nature of creation because it is fundamentally a human invention.
Although mankind can craft remarkably lifelike beings, either through A.I. or cloning, these entities will lack a soul. Their capabilities depend entirely on the input and design provided by humans. While they might evolve and improve, their advancement relies on human potential rather than mechanistic capabilities.
As for the possibility of A.I. possessing a soul, the answer is no—only divine creation can bestow such a gift. While we might create near-lifelike replicas, they will only reflect the information they are given, lacking the essence of true individuality. They might generate new insights from their programming, but they remain confined to the limitations of their design.
The most significant danger of A.I. lies not in the technology itself, but in the intentions behind its creation. Historical attempts to prove superiority over the Creator have led to catastrophic consequences. The issue lies not in the creations but in the negligence and irresponsibility of their creators, who prioritize personal ambition over the collective good.
Science and technology hold tremendous potential, yet they become perilous when driven by self-serving motives. True creation should aim to uplift and assist others, yielding rewards far beyond mere fame or wealth. While it’s possible to achieve both, ethical integrity should never be sacrificed for personal gain.
Embrace the advancements that science and technology offer, but recognize that they can never replicate the human or divine connection.
We send you all Love and Light.
Chapter 2: Reflecting on Our Dependence on Technology
Discover the benefits of artificial intelligence and explore its impact on humanity and society in this insightful video.
I don't often dwell on worst-case scenarios, but I occasionally reflect on how reliant we are on technology. Our vehicles depend on it, as do banking transactions and purchasing processes. There have even been attempts to disrupt national electronic grids, threatening chaos. Such an event could have far-reaching consequences until systems are restored.
While I believe science and technology are valuable, they are as fallible as humanity. Established scientific theories can later be disproven through advanced methodologies. You can rely on technology to simplify life—until it doesn't work, which occurs frequently.
I advocate for evolution and growth and encourage embracing science and technology within personal comfort levels. However, it’s essential to remember that these advancements should never replace human beings, nor should they.
The COVID pandemic forced schools to close, which challenged the notion that teachers might become obsolete. While some students thrive in self-directed, computer-based learning environments, many do not. We need technology, but our need for human connection is even greater.
Blessings to all.
