Section 1.1: The Medium Email

Previously, I averaged about seven articles per month, sometimes even fewer. However, after a week of posting two articles daily, I got a notification from Medium. The email essentially stated that they had noticed some suspicious activities related to my stories and their engagement levels, and that my account was under review. If any irregularities were confirmed, my account would be at risk of termination.

This notification prompted me to scale back my posting frequency. Consequently, I’ve only been able to publish one article in recent days. I can’t quite explain it, but I feel as though there might be a personal bias against me. My account has faced suspensions three times—in July, August, and October. Each time I reached out for clarification, they simply responded, "Apologies, your account was mistakenly suspended."

Trust me, the aftermath of those suspensions was challenging; my daily views plummeted from 1,000-2,000 to a mere 20-50 for several months. This drop significantly hindered my growth, and I lost a considerable number of followers in the process.

That's why I’m being extra cautious now; I want to avoid a fourth suspension or the deletion of my account. Consequently, I’ve opted to post just one article a day and have stopped responding to comments for the time being.

I recently communicated with the Medium support team, and I am optimistic that my account is secure, but I’m not taking any chances. Therefore, my plan is to maintain the one-article-per-day schedule for now.
